Q. What will I eat?
A. Usually we encourage everyone to eat what the accommodation offers. If there is something specifically you like or you don't like, we ask you to notify your host. This is a great way to start conversation with your family. If the participant is too young or their English is too weak, we can always intervene and help out.
Bear in mind that you may eat at different times than you are use to. Your body clock will soon adjust to the new situation.

Q. What if I don't like my host family?
A. We do our best to match the student with a suitable host family. We recommend at least one week of living with the host family before they decide to move host families. Q. Do I require medical insurance?
A. Before travelling we recommend that you take out private medical insurance. If you are in the EU we recommend you travel with your E111 or European Medical Card. You will be able to attend the doctor or a hospital without incurring any expenses. You will still have to pay some money towards your prescriptions if you need any.
Please note that host families DO NOT at any stage cover for your medical expenses, this includes, head lice treatments and over the counter medicines such as paracetamol, ibuprofen or sore throat remedies.

A. What level of English do I need?
B. You are not required to have a specific level of English, but the better English you have the sooner you will adapt. We have included in most of our summer camps or short stays, a thematic vocabulary class that helps learning most of the words you will use during the day. Most participants have not been exposed to this specific vocabulary, so do not worry, you will fully enjoy. All workshops are selected carefully so you will be able to understand what's going on and learn your vocabulary really fast.
Native participants always help international students and you will very soon adjust.
